Chris Boucher

Co-Owner
Chris is the Director of Recreation and Leisure Services in the Town of Somers. He has worked since 2015 to reorganize and reinvent athletic development programming within his community.

Chris is the Director of Recreation and Leisure Services in the Town of Somers.  He has worked since 2015 to reorganize and reinvent athletic development programming within his community.  He has been the administrator of the Somers youth basketball program since 2015, overseeing as many as 25 teams per season and 300 players from ages 3 through 18.  Chris is a travel basketball coach and assistant boys varsity basketball coach at Somers High School. He currently holds his Connecticut coach’s certificate. He is a graduate of Boston University and is currently enrolled in the Sport Management graduate program at Southern Connecticut State University.

John Hostetler

Co-Owner
John retired from 34 years of teaching physical education and health at Ellington Middle School in 2018. He is the current Somers High School Boys Varsity Basketball Coach since 2005.

John retired from 34 years of teaching physical education and health at Ellington Middle School in 2018.  He is the current Somers High School Boys Varsity Basketball Coach since 2005. John is a Hall of Fame member of the Connecticut Girls Soccer Coaches Association and former Connecticut State Coach of the Year.  He holds his Connecticut state teaching certificate and Connecticut coach’s certificate. John has decades of experience coaching including at the international level and in Connecticut High School athletics since 1983, including three high school state championships.  He is a Springfield College graduate in physical education and coaching.

Jack Hostetler

Jack graduated from St. Joseph's College of Maine in 2019 with a degree in physical education. A member of the men's basketball team, he left with the highest three-point percentage in the school's history.

Jack Hostetler

Jack graduated from St. Joseph's College of Maine in 2019 with a degree in physical education.  A member of the men's basketball team, he left with the highest 3 point percentage in the school's history, shooting 52% his senior year.  After graduation, Jack traveled to Los Angeles to work with Integrity Hoops where he trained multiple NBA players including Russell Westbrook, Blake Griffin and Marcus Smart.  Prior to the 2019-2020 NBA training camp, Jack was hired by the Boston Celtics as a member of the coaching staff with their G-League team, the Maine Red Claws.  As a member of the coaching staff, Jack was responsible for player development, film breakdown and scouting reports.

Rheya Neabors

Rheya is a former women’s basketball coach at Mount Holyoke College and a current coach at Springfield Renaissance School.

Rheya is a former women’s basketball coach at Mount Holyoke College and a current coach at Springfield Renaissance School.  Rheya was a celebrated high school basketball player in California, winning three league championships, back-to-back state championships, and earning many individual honors including All-League,  All-County, All-State and CIF Division II MVP. Rheya played two seasons of collegiate basketball at the University of Arizona and two years at UC Riverside. Rheya ended her accomplished collegiate career at UC Riverside with the school’s single season record for assists.  Rheya currently works in numerous capacities to promote and maximize equity, inclusion, diversity, and character development.

Emily Neimann

Emily is the current women’s basketball coach at Baypath University.  Prior to Bay Path, Emily spent two years coaching at Springfield Renaissance School where she led the program to back- to-back league championships.  Emily was a prolific high school basketball player in Texas, winning three state championships. She was named Texas’ player of the year in 2003. After high school, Emily starred as a member of the Baylor Women’s Basketball Team. She was a member of the 2005 NCAA Division I Baylor University National Championship team and was selected to the Final Four tournament team. Emily is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and earned her Master’s from Smith College in Exercise Science, Emphasis on Inclusion in Athletics and Coaching.  She is the co-founder of the Keys to the Gym project, a youtube channel of teaching basketball intelligence and how to develop an effective athletic mindset.

Kara Wolters

Kara will be a special partner and coach of skill development at THE COURT.  Kara is a 2017 inductee into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. She was a member of the 2000 Women’s USA Basketball Olympic team and helped lead the team to a gold medal.  She also won gold medals at the 1999 US Olympic Cup, 1998 World Championships, and 1997 World University Games. Kara enjoyed an outstanding professional career, which included a WNBA Championship with the Houston Comets in 1999.  Kara is among the most-accomplished collegiate players in the history of collegiate basketball. She helped guide the University of Connecticut Women’s Basketball Team to the school’s first NCAA National Championship in 1995. She received the Victor Award as the nation’s top female player in 1996, the 1997 AP National College Player of the Year and was runner-up for the Naismith National Player of the Year in 1997.  Kara was selected to the Big East All Tournament Team four times and holds the school’s all-time rebounding and blocked shots records. She holds the distinct honor of being only one of a small number of women to receive a Gold Medal in the Olympics, WNBA Championship, and an NCAA Championship.

Ryan is currently a volunteer assistant under Hall of Famer basketball coach Jim Calhoun at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) in West Hartford.

Ryan is currently a volunteer assistant under Hall of Famer basketball coach Jim Calhoun at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) in West Hartford.  Ryan had an illustrious playing career including earning All-State honors his senior season at E.O. Smith. He played collegiate basketball at Fairfield University, where he served as captain for his junior and senior season.  Ryan was named Second Team All-MAAC in 2011, three-time MAAC All-Academic, two-time Jesuit Academic All-American and graduate Fairfield as the winningest player in program history. Ryan played professionally for three years in Lithuania.  He was an All Star in 2013 and won the Baltic League Championship for Siauliai in 2015. He currently serves as an academic advisor to USJ student athletes and is pursuing his Master’s Degree in School Counseling.

Tarchee Brown

Tarchee graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University in Spring 2018 following a celebrated collegiate career.  In his senior season, Tarchee was selected as the program’s first first-team All-American. In addition to this prestigious honor, Tarchee’s decorated collegiate career featured numerous awards and distinctions including becoming the program’s first ever four-time, first-team All-Little East selection, LEC Conference Player of the Year, NABC New England Player-of-the-Year, Reese’s DIII National All-Star Game selection at Division III Final Four, LEC Rookie-of-the-Year and the program’s second ever four-time All-Little East selection.  Tarchee ended his career with Eastern ranking as the all-time leader in program history in total points.  He also ranks in the top ten in points per game and three point field goals. Prior to Eastern, Tarchee graduated from Rockville High School where he was a three-time All-Conference selection and was named All-State during his senior season. Tarchee has worked privately training youth basketball players. He currently works in child care.

Ray has 21 years of basketball coaching experience in Northern Connecticut and Western Massachusetts at both the high school (Bloomfield, Ellington, Somers, Fermi, MLC, and Palmer) and collegiate (Trinity College and Western New England University) level.  His expertise includes shooting and providing age-appropriate fundamental skill development.

Karlee Alves

Karlee graduated from Merrimack College in 2019 after an accomplished basketball career.  As a senior, Karlee set Merrimack’s single-game (15) and single-season (232) assists records.  Karlee led the NE10 in total assists and assists per game in both her junior and senior seasons and ranked first and second in total steals and steals per game in her junior and senior seasons, respectively.  She ranked second in the nation in total assists, third in assists per game, and twelfth in total steals. Karlee started all 30 games as a senior and was named Team Captain. Karlee played high school basketball at Ellington High School where she was selected All-Conference three times, All-State twice, was named Conference Tournament MVP twice, and scored over 1,000 career points.  Karlee graduated with a degree in business administration with a concentration in sports management.
