The summer Battle for the Border League returns for season 2!

 

This summer, the Battle for the Border League will add a Middle School Division.

 

Battle for the Border Leagues provide teams with a professionally organized and executed basketball league with teams across the Western Massachusetts and North Central Connecticut to find out who reigns supreme in the Battle for the CT/MA border!

 

The Battle for the Border League is a collaboration between THE COURT (Enfield, CT) and South End Community Center (Springfield, MA) to provide a premiere basketball league experience for youth athletes in the region.  The Battle for the Border league will create a fun and competitive summer league environment.

 

The Fall Battle for the Border League will feature Middle School (Grades 5-8) and High School (Grades 9-12) divisions for both boys and girls.

 

All games will be played at South End Community Center in Springfield and THE COURT in Enfield.

 

AAU, High School, Travel, and Suburban teams all eligible.  Teams will be broken into pools by competitive level to ensure competitively balanced gameplay.

 

Divisions

Boys 5th/6th Grade                           Girls 5th/6th Grade

Boys 7th/8th Grade                           Girls 7th/8th Grade

Boys HS (up to 12th Grade)            Girls HS (up to 12th Grade)

**All grade levels for 2021-2022 school year**

 

Teams guaranteed 10+ games. 9 regular season games with minimum one playoff game per team.

 

Season will run from July 5 through August 21.
